AYANA Hospitality, a leading player in the hospitality industry, is looking for a highly skilled Chef de Partie Chinese to join the kitchen team at AYANA komodo. If you are passionate about Chinese cuisine and have experience in preparing and cooking Chinese dishes, we invite you to join our team in Komodo Island, Indonesia. As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards, using fresh and seasonal ingredients. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new dishes and menus that will delight our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook Chinese dishes to the highest standards of quality and consistency. Ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely and efficient manner, taking into account individual guest requests. Monitor the quality of all ingredients used in the preparation of Chinese dishes, and ensure that all items are stored and handled in accordance with health and safety standards. Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes and menus that will appeal to our guests. Work with the Head Chef to prepare food orders and manage inventory levels. Manage and train junior kitchen staff, providing support and guidance as required. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, and ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained. Requirements At least 2 years of experience working as a Chef de Partie in a Chinese restaurant. Proficient in preparing and cooking a wide variety of Chinese dishes, including dim sum, stir-fries, and soups. Strong knowledge of Chinese ingredients and cooking techniques, and the ability to adapt to new styles of cooking. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests, kitchen staff, and management. Good leadership skills, with the ability to manage and train junior staff. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure. A passion for delivering exceptional food and service to guests.
