We are currently looking for a skilled Chef de Partie to join the team at AYANA Komodo's Seafood&Grill Restaurant. A creative and resourceful chef with a passion for seafood and grilled cuisine is the ideal candidate for this role. As the Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Seafood&Grill Restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently at all times. You will oversee the kitchen team and will play a key role in menu planning and execution, as well as providing guidance and training to junior staff. Responsibilities Prepare and plate high-quality seafood and grilled dishes in a timely and efficient manner. Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency with brand standards and guest requirements. Assist with menu planning and execution, using creativity and innovation to develop new dishes and food concepts. Train and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to maintain high levels of performance and productivity. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, performing regular checks and inspections to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment. Manage inventory and supplies, ordering and restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with other departments, such as front of house, to ensure seamless coordination of guest services. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry. Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on seafood and grill cuisine. Strong leadership and organizational abilities, with the ability to manage a team and prioritize tasks effectively. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, with experience in implementing and maintaining compliance processes. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders. Strong analytical abilities, with the ability to evaluate and improve systems and procedures. Creative and innovative mindset, with a passion for exploring new food concepts and trends.
