Job Details Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1 To supervise the T&A, blast and paint departments. 2 Be responsible for all mechanical fitters, general workers and outside contract personnel who are working in the T&A department. 3 Review all Route sheets and drawings that have been issued to the T&A Department. 4 Ensure route sheets are stamped by operators on completion of each operation. 5 Plan, delegate and oversee work for the T&A Department. 6 Ensure correct tools are used to perform the dismantling, assembly, blasting and painting works. 7 Able to troubleshoot and come up viable solutions when faced with problems during dismantling, assembling and pressure testing of customer equipment. 8 Ensure customer equipment is properly labelled, preserved and stored during the course of repair. 9 Liaise with the project team to ensure all required spare parts are available for reassembly and testing. 10 To monitor the condition of all tools and equipment in the Test and Assembly Department and ensure their serviceability. 11 Ensure all timecards are updated accurately daily. 12 Ensure all work is carried out following procedures and work instructions. 13 Review and update existing HIRA, work instruction and testing procedures and create new ones when required. Communicate and train all Mechanical Fitters and General Workers new and updated HIRA, work instructions and testing procedures on a timely basis. 14 Attend weekly production meetings as organized by the Operation Manager and communicate production updates and forward planning for each job. 15 To ensure that production targets are achieved, delivery times are met, and monthly revenue targets achieved 16 Contribute material and participate in daily toolbox talks 17 Ensure all shop floor personnel are working safely and comply with all EHS requirements. 18 Responsible for the overall housekeeping of the T&A department and the Blast and Paint Shop. 19 To conduct onboarding and refresher training for all new & existing mechanical fitters and general workers in the T&A Department as and when required. 20 Pro-actively provide timely and regular feedback as well as coaching to T&A team on safety and performance to address competency gaps, manage individual’s performance and conduct annual appraisals and mid-year reviews for all direct reports. 21 To visit outside vendors as the need arises. 22 To attend and participate in monthly Quality and EHS meetings. 23 To participate in shop floor housekeeping walks. 24 To contribute continual improvement initiatives. 25 Ensure compliance with OSI Quality management system 26 Ensure compliance with OSI HS&E requirements 27 Ensure compliance with OSI EHS policy Qualification Requirements Formal Education & Certification 1 Must have a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering Knowledge & Experience 1 Must have a minimum 10 years’ experience in the oilfield industry 2 At least 5 years in a workshop environment 3 Must have knowledge on dismantling, assembly, troubleshooting and pressure testing of oilfield equipment Personal Attributes 1 Must have excellent organizational skills, and be prepared to work as part of a team 2 Must have excellent oral and written English skills
