Job Details Description Duties and Responsibilities 1 Perform maintenance on all OSI mechanical, hydraulic and electrical machinery, tools and equipment and ensure they are kept in good working conditions. 2 Ensure all daily, monthly and yearly maintenance checklists are updated accurately. 3 Involve in the preventive maintenance system and to comply with the documentation. 4 Maintain a proper spare part register to ensure availability of the spare parts. 5 Maintain a high standard of housekeeping at all times within designated area, which will include the upkeep of your machine and surrounding floor area. 6 Ensure personal safety at all times, and the safety of all others. 7 Familiarize with regular servicing vendors, machine manuals and the ordering process for spare parts and components. 8 Understand the basics in the use of welding machines, machine tools, hydraulic jacks, rollers, manipulators and other operational equipment, to enable greater understanding during maintenance/repairs. Able to use the correct maintenance tool(s) for the jobs. 9 To possess basic knowledge of pressure testing equipment, to allow a greater understanding when there is a breakdown. 10 Familiarize with the legal requirements on cranes and compressors. 11 Perform “Lock Out Tag Out” (LOTO) procedure, when required, prior to the completion of maintenance. 12 Accept and perform any additional work-related instructions/activities, to the best of his ability, as determined by the department supervisor/manager. 13 Comply with OSI Quality Management System, OSI HE&E policy and requirements. Qualification Requirements Formal Education & Certification Minimum High School Certification / Vocational School Knowledge & Experience Served a recognized apprenticeship or equivalent as a Maintenance Technician Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician A qualified crane and forklift operator. Personal Attributes Be able to speak, read and write English. Good organisation skills and be ready to work as part of a team. Others Undergo any additional training for new welding equipment. Undergo mechanical and electrical training for any new machines in the production department. Must be prepared to work on rotation shift (day/night), with reasonable amount of overtime as and when required.
