We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon.As a Product Steward Engineer, you will own the process knowledge of the product(s) assigned throughout the commercial lifecycle, oversight on product capability through data trending and statistical analysis of product quality attributes. Responsible for process capability monitoring, to ensure process(s) are robust and product in continued state of validation and continuously improving.In this role, a typical day will include:Designing, developing, and implementing new or revised production processes for the efficient/economical mass production of goods includingDesigning arrangement of manufacturing equipment to ensure most efficient and productive layout Designing the sequence of production operations, specifying procedures for the fabrication of applicable tools and equipment, and adapting machinery in response to factory conditions Conducting tests throughout all stages of production to determine control over applicable variables and troubleshooting/solving production problems Providing guidance to product design engineering on technical specifications that will best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques Ensuring that production processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:Experience in process support role on the shop floor of pharmaceutical / medical device manufacturing and/or QA/QC.Understand basic investigation / root cause analysis tool.Understand concept of DMR/MDF/pFMEA related to medical device mfg process.Proven process understanding (Medical Device/Pharma, GMP, Regulatory aspects).Statistical Expert: Data handling and applied statistics is a must.Technical report writing skill in English and local languageEnglish communication skills and proficient in site local language.HOW YOU CAN THRIVE AT ALCON:Good team playerPart of growing companyOpportunity be involved and exposure to projects from global site
