Job Description :The perimeter of the role currently covers Royal Canin APAC Region, including China, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Taiwan and reporting to Royal Canin APAC CFO. The Governance & Controls Manager is responsible for ensuring proper internal controls, processes and capability building are in place throughout this region. It will coordinate the deployment of the new G&C foundations in the region and ensure its effectiveness. It will partner with multiple stakeholders including RC group controller team, global controlling team, RC APAC regional leadership team, APAC regional CFO, unit’s controllers & market CFOs of APAC and business operations Associates. The associate will lead the creation and Implementation of regional Governance & compliance agenda, and support all unit on their G&C plans. 50% time of the role will also be dedicated to China, partnering with China CFO and Controller to step change the G&C foundation for this Big-Bet market.What are we looking for? Bachelor and above degree in accounting or equivalent fieldminimum 8 years above in controllership/finance operations/audit experienceCPA or other professional certification (Preferred)Navision Experience or Equivalent ERP system (Preferred)Fluent English & Chinese (Preferred)Strong accounting and finance background with track record of delivering resultsAble to drive change and continuous improvement with multiple groups in a fast-paced environmentDigitally savvy, with strong user and problem-centric approachGood analytical skills and ability to interpret finance resultsGood policy, process, and control-orientation and experience with the ability to drive standardsGood written and verbal communication skillsPresence in front of senior leadershipWhat will be your key responsibilities? Build and coordinate G&C framework, priorities & calendar for APAC region, and drive its execution, with support from APAC regional and market CFOs, RC Group Controller, IA Director and Petcare controller.Lead APAC controller community, working closely with all market controllers, and engaging global controllership group, local / regional CFOs, and other stakeholders to step change APAC G&C agenda systematically.Lead quarterly APAC compliance reviews with APLT, reviewing regional G&C scorecard, driving continuous improvements and follow-up on G&C action plan.Provide guidance and support to local market units on compliance matter, Including global policy, Finance manual, best practices, training and capability building.Partner with CA to publish quarterly newsletter to all APAC associates.All R25 within the Region must be reported to this role. Partner with Internal Control team, drive consistency and best practice in internal control design, monitor internal control effectiveness and reporting to ICCOE.Ensure proper internal and external audit observations, R25s are closed and follow-up on IA & MLCs remediation and ICE gap tracker for the region. Ensure IA & R25 learnings are shared and applied across.Work closely with the other governance leads and RC group to bring in simplification and standardization across the Group on Governance. Develop internal control expectations for new business models.
