Thisrolewillberesponsiblefor Europe, Asia, Africaand NAMETRUB supply of fattyacidsandrelatedby-products/derivatives like glycerine, soap noodlesand esters. Responsibilitiesincludesupplyandfuturefeedstockstrategy, NDPE program management forallfattyacids (includingthoseused in downstream materials), successfulroadmapimplementationto meet NDPE targets, related stakeholder management as well as supplier relationship management andcontract management.Since Unilever directlyprocuresprimaryfeedstock of surfactantsandfattyacids, it is extremelycriticaltounderstand the value chain andexploiteach step in the chain. The procurementprocessinvolvesgoodunderstanding of the market andresultingstrategy development as well as excellent internal andexternal stakeholder management in the hot topic of UL’s NDPE commitment anditsimplementation, so the role does encompassboth business andprocurementskill sets.Main ResponsibilitiesResponsible for delivery of Procurement Key Performance Indicators’ such as Value Improvement Programs, Innovation Delivery, Payment Terms Extension, Cost Target, Gross Margin Improvement, Traceability & Sustainability, and etc. in line with sourcing strategies and compliance management.Support Tallow to Veg. transitions for Fatty acids and derivatives in Europe.Support security of key materials through the development of contingency plans and alternative materials/suppliers.Closely work with suppliers and consuming countries to ensure material availability.Responsible for pricing accuracy together with other members of the Regional/Global teamResponsible for Price Forecast maintenance.Support in identifyingBlendflex opportunities, and at times lead regional implementation of global projects involving Oleochemicals. Support delivery of cost savings in line with sourcing strategies and compliance management.Support Procurement Manager with the tendering process and the subsequent benchmarking and total cost analysis.Support complexity reduction programs. Continuously improve ways of working more efficient ways of handling data, thereby close co-operation with Enterprise support and Capability Teams.Support the management and maintenance of supplier relationships.Support compliance initiative, contract management, SQA/RS, specs, and etc.Candidate CriteriaExperience & QualificationMinimum Bachelor fromany major3-5 years of experience in Buying or Procurementpreferably in Chemicals/PalmDrive foroperational excellence andexecution as well as strategic thinking andforesightExperience in beingaccountablefor Target delivery. SkillExcellent Excel/Presentation skills andAnalytical Skills Good Communication Skills andabletowork in fastpaced environment and manage timelinesStrong stakeholder management skillsExperience in Finance (Costing & Pricing) is a plusBasic understanding of International Trade – Duties, Taxes, and etc. Goodunderstanding of suppliersand the externalcompetitive environment in OleochemicalindustryLeadershipYou are energized by delivering fantastic results.
