We are currently seeking a dynamic and skilled  Head of Finance and Accounting  to oversee our financial operations across Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. This role includes managing our newly implemented accounting system, streamlining accounts payable, refining financial policies, and overseeing company insurances. The ideal candidate will be experienced in financial control and compliance, ensuring accuracy and integrity in all financial claims and reports. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Planning and Analysis: - Lead the development, analysis, and execution of the company's budgeting and financial forecasting processes across all regions. - Collaborate with department heads and senior management to prepare comprehensive budgets that align with the company’s strategic objectives. - Conduct financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making and guide long-term financial planning. - Regularly evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts; identify trends and recommend actions. - Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making. 2. Accounting System Oversight: - Monitor and evaluate the new accounting system to ensure its optimal performance and efficiency. - Identify and implement process improvements in financial systems, particularly in automating tasks related to Accounts Payable and claim management. 3. Financial Operations and Efficiency: - Drive efficiencies in financial processes across all regional offices, ensuring smooth and consistent operations in areas including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and claim management. - Oversee the management of Accounts Receivable to ensure timely collection of payments, maintain accurate records, and improve cash flow. - Regularly review and update credit and collection policies and procedures to optimize A/R cycles and reduce outstanding and overdue invoices. - Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing disputes and negotiate payment arrangements, if necessary. - Utilize financial metrics and KPIs to monitor and report on the status of A/R, including aging analyses, collection rates, and bad debt levels. 4. Regional Financial Management: - Manage and coordinate financial activities across Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. - Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and corporate financial policies within each country. 5. Risk Management and Insurance: - Oversee all company insurance requirements, ensuring adequate coverage and compliance across regions. - Manage risk assessments and mitigation strategies. 6. Financial Control: - Implement robust control mechanisms to prevent inaccuracies and fraudulent claims. - Regularly review and audit financial procedures and reports to ensure integrity and accuracy. 7. Team Leadership and Development: - Lead and mentor finance and accounting teams across multiple regions. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional growth within the finance department. 8. Strategic Financial Advice: - Provide strategic financial insights to support the company's growth and development in the region. - Advise senior management on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities, and policy matters. Key Requirements: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, CFA, or equivalent is strongly preferred. - Minimum of 10 years of finance and accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role covering multiple countries, preferably in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. - Expertise in automated financial systems, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial control. - Strong understanding of regional financial regulations and reporting requirements. - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
