With a strong presence across multiple countries, their modern infrastructure and experienced professionals enable the delivery of accessible and affordable healthcare to diverse communitiesKey Responsibilities:Perform sterilization processes for medical equipment, instruments, and supplies according to established protocols and guidelines.Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, such as autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners, ensuring their proper functioning and adherence to safety standards.Inspect and assemble instrument sets, ensuring completeness and functionality.Monitor and document sterilization cycles, including temperature, pressure, and exposure time.Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance.Collaborate with the CSSD team to ensure an adequate supply of sterile instruments and supplies for various hospital units.Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation, ordering, and restocking of supplies.Adhere to infection control protocols and guidelines to prevent the spread of infections.Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on the latest sterilization techniques and best practices.Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide support and assistance during procedures, as needed.Requirements:Valid nursing license, BTCLS, and relevant certifications.Minimum of 1 year of experience in CSSD or sterile processing.Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection control, and aseptic practices.Familiarity with different types of medical equipment and instruments.Attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols and guidelines.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
