include:Import ExportLiaison with freight forwarders and other internal / external third parties to coordinate all import / export shipment activities, including customs clearance and relevant documentation in line with local policies and regulationsLiaison in both pre & post sales activities to ensure related to import and export processes and documentationDevelop and implement policies and procedures related to imports and exportsMonitor and analyse import/export data to identify compliance risks, and take corrective actions to ensure complianceTransportationManage freight forwarders covering both international transportation (primarily inbound to Indonesia), and domestic transportation including outbound to Indonesia customersCoordinate with internal customer service, procurement, planning teams on shipment prioritization, and schedulesDrive operational excellence monitoring transportation shipment schedules, lead times, service levels, costsIdentify and optimize local transportation and fulfilment strategyWarehousingPartner with 3PL to ensure efficient management and operation of all warehousing activities including physical inventory management, storage, inbound and outbound processes, etcOptimize internal / external 3PL capabilities to meet growth, service, cost and cash targetsEffectively manage projected space requirements and strategy as per business requirements to support relevant go to market strategiesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fieldMin 10 years of experience in relevant fieldHigh level of familiarity with Indonesian Import/Export and customs clearance protocols, documentation, registration & licensing requirements, as well as generally accepted international standardsExperience in dealing with controlled products such as Medical Devices, In Vitro Device, Dangerous GoodsExperience partnering with multiple international and domestic freight forwarders, and 3PL providersFamiliarity with SAP or similar ERP'sKey CompetenciesSelf motivated and a self starter, high levels of self accountability and ownershipExperience leading a teamAbility to work in a complex and highly matrixed environmentConfident dealing with high levels of ambiguityRequired language(s): Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia, High proficiency and fluency in English both written and oralExcellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
