We are currently looking for: Buyer (Global Trainee Program) The Global Trainee Program is designed to prepare future leader in Tenaris. It is a combination of e-learning courses, job rotation, mentoring session, classroom training (in Indonesia and Argentina), and practical on-the-job experience lasting 2 years. Requirements: Minimum bachelor degree in Engineering, preferably in the area of Management Engineering and Logistics, or Electrical, Mechanical Engineering. Has 2-3 years of experience in procurement, acting as a buyer, preferably of Services. Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft office applications. Proficiency in SAP ERP would be a plus. Excellent communication skills, having proficient English level both in written and conversation. Good team player, proactive, eager to learn, resilience, result oriented, and always curious for improvement. Main Responsibilities: Purchase, in due time and manner, equipment, services and materials from approved suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring the best customer service level. Optimize the purchasing cycle, maximize quality, minimize costs and ensure that purchase orders and contracts comply with all specifications. Assess the market to define the eligible vendor list which complies with company requirement. Provide accurate information to supplier, verifying technical specifications required. Purchase the best product or services, offering the best value-for-money in the market, by assessing economic and technical information on the proposal submitted by each supplier. Ensure fulfilment of Purchase Orders and Contracts and define the Logistics of the products. Seek purchasing cycle improvement by developing new or alternative products or services, and suppliers, maximizing quality and minimizing costs, lead times and liabilities for Clients. Understand the relevant safety parameters associated with each type of purchase, and select suitable suppliers accordingly. Ensure that suppliers know the company HSE polices for critical services. Ensure compliance with the company policies and management standards. Work Location: This position will be placed in Cilegon – Banten, Indonesia
