Project Location: Pomalaa, SulawesiProject Duration: 25 MonthMAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES OF POSITIONResponsible for evaluating and monitoring construction contractors and sub-contractors HSSE performance and ensure compliance to OQ HSSE policies HSSEMS.Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement comprehensive HSE plans, strategies, and procedures, aligning with industry standards and client requirements.Conduct thorough risk assessments and hazard identification, actively participating in safety meetings and discussions to ensure potential risks are recognized and mitigated.Participate in incident investigations, root cause analyses, and reporting, striving to identify lessons learned and implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent reoccurrence.Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance with HSE standards, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations to enhance safety and environmental performance.Collaborate with project teams to develop and deliver HSE training programs, workshops, and toolbox talks, fostering a culture of awareness and responsibility among project personnel.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of HSE data, incidents, inspections, and audits, and compile reports for project stakeholders and regulatory bodies as required.Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on HSE matters, acting as a resource for best practices and innovative solutions.Deliver Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental inductions to new start employees and subcontractors as required. Knowledge / Experience / Competencies Required Job Specific Knowledge:Experience having demonstrated effective HSE leadership and management in a similar sized project, or across multiple locations within a similar industry.Experience in managing and controlling budgets.Ability to build effective relationships, network, build teams and proactively support the business.Strong working knowledge of OH&S legislation and industry standards.Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills.Industry Specific Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in HSE roles within the resources, construction and infrastructure sectorsMinimum of 2 years’ experience in a HSE Field InspectorEducation – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training (minimum):Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.HSE Capability:Have the experience and skills to set the standard and drive the rest of the team to excel in HSEExtensive technical, practical and leadership experience in HSE. Including experience in strategic planning within a commercial environment and demonstrable experience in driving industry leadership in HSE performance.
