This position BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER is responsible driving growth and expansion of the company, by identifying potential business streamline, and assist clients and potential clients of solving their issue. SCOPE OF WORK The BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER main roles are: Develop business strategy through knowledge of industry and analysis of ongoing business opportunities. Identify and contact new potential customer in order to generate new business. Maintain relationships with existing clients and secure new business from these organisations. Write competitive proposals and tender responses. Develop innovative pricing solutions. Gather intelligence on customers and competitors. Day-to-day activities of the BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER are: Identify and contact new potential customers in order to generate new business. Maintain relationships with existing clients and secure new business form these organisations. Identify client issues requiring resolution Oversee the writing of competitive proposals and tender responses including forming competitive teams. Develop innovative solutions tailored to client’s requirement. Conduct competitor analysis Conduct market sector analysis Analyse wins/losses to continually improve performance Become expert in area of responsibility Identify risk and/or opportunities for business growth when undertaking review of business development activities. Work with Operation department to ensure proposals and bid responses are workable and achievable. Work with Culture and Performance, Finance and Clinical departments to ensure competitive and profitable proposals are submitted. Demonstrated capacity to establish and develop effective relationships with customers; through the determination of needs, management of processes and delivery standards with respect to developing bids and proposals. Sound knowledge and understanding of the legal and business framework within which the company operates, or the capacity to quickly identify and respond to those requirements. Superior communication, consultative, interpersonal, and negotiating skill Demonstrable ability to project manage successful large scale tenders. Accountability for tender responses/proposals and clients High level analytical skills, including ability to analyse requirements. Capacity to develop and implement growth strategy, including working with potential industry partners. Ability to identify and articulate innovative project initiatives Ability to work within a team and communicate effectively with other departments within the company. Excellent written communication skills, including professional tender writing skills Excellent project management skills. Ability to communicate with and engage people effectively to achieve a result Ability to understand and apply Business Excellence principles Business acumen. Flexibility and adaptability Innovative and creative thinker. Demonstrated high levels of personal integrity and ethics of management practice. Demonstrated commitment to the maintenance of ongoing knowledge of contemporary management issues and practices, particularly as they relate to individual executive effectiveness Proficiency in English Experience in healthcare industry.
