This position involves in developing and implementing innovative beverage programs to elevate guest experiences, ensuring seamless coordination with various departments to maintain high standards of service. The Beverage Manager is responsible for managing the bar and beverage team, conducting regular training sessions to uphold service excellence, and collaborating with suppliers to curate an exceptional beverage menu. Additionally, the role involves monitoring inventory, controlling costs, and implementing strategies to maximize revenue.QualificationsEducation: A bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional certifications in beverage management, sommelier training, or related areas can be advantageous.Experience: Substantial experience in beverage management, with a proven track record of success in luxury hotels or upscale dining establishments.Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the beverage industry, including trends, premium and exclusive products, and a strong understanding of various types of beverages, from wines and spirits to non-alcoholic options. Familiarity with the international market and an understanding of how global trends impact the beverage industry.Leadership and Management Skills: Strong leadership skills to manage a diverse team effectively. Proven ability to recruit, train, and motivate staff members to deliver exceptional service. Experience in overseeing day-to-day operations and managing large-scale events or promotions.Financial Acumen: Solid financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and profit optimization. Experience in negotiating with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with staff, suppliers, and guests. The ability to collaborate with other departments and effectively convey the hotel's beverage vision.Customer Focus: A customer-centric approach with a commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience.
