Job Scope:The Regional Order Desk Manager APAC is responsible for leading and managing the shared function, which provides centralised support services to various ‘back of house’ functions within APAC (primary focus on regional order desk operations to commence). This role involves developing and implementing strategies to optimise service delivery, streamline processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.What You’ll Do:Leadership & StrategyDevelop and communicate a clear vision and strategy aligned with the organisation's goals.Provide leadership and direction to a team of front-line leaders and staff.Service Delivery & QualityEnsure timely and accurate delivery of services.Implement performance metrics and KPIs to measure service quality and effectiveness.Continuously monitor and improve service delivery processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.Cost ManagementDevelop and manage the budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource allocation.Identify opportunities for cost savings and process optimisation without compromising service quality.Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations for the function.Build strong relationships and partnerships to ensure alignment and support for initiatives.Change Management & Continuous ImprovementLead change initiatives related to process improvements, technology implementations, and organisational changes.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.What You’ll Bring:Proven experience in shared services management or similar roles with a track record of driving operational excellence.Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.Proven experience managing teams remotely (across borders preferred) – we are APAC.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving results and achieving business objectives.Familiarity with ERP systems, process automation and digital transformation initiatives.What we offer: Competitive remuneration package on offer.Work-life balance with a flexible work schedule so you can focus on professional and personal priorities.Job security in a volatile market.
