In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:• To lead, support and develop the corporate communications resources/services.• Providing oversight and assess effectiveness for the quality delivery of communication services.• Determine which resources to in-source and outsource (including PR agencies, and other services needed).• Serve as a conduit to enable cross-cultural communications and develop tools and processes that allow the company to communicate clearly among and within different cultural settings.• Provide strategic communications counsel to business leaders and oversee the development of communications initiatives aligned with the overall business goals.• Create the company’s strategic communications plan and messaging platform to drive consistency among all internal and external audiences (including financial constituents)• Strategically manage the external corporate positioning of the group through interviews, presentations to stakeholders, speaking opportunities and delegation visits.• Develop and maintain relationships with media contacts and drive positive media coverage. Evaluate opportunities to maximize positive exposure for RGE Group, its operating companies, and its leadership, as well as mitigating image risks.• Supervise the group Corporate Identity and branding efforts. Also oversee the corporate collateral development – websites, brochures, corporate videos, exhibitions.• Crisis Communications/Issues Management - Develop and manage an effective crisis and issues management program that is integrated with the company’s business continuity program.• Direct all executive communications and speechwriting on behalf of the senior leaders of the company.• Develop and deliver communications initiatives that build an emotional bond between employees and the company. Provide senior leadership team with communication tools that enhance productive dialogue with employees.• Digital Media Presence and Online Reputation Management – Direct the strategy for RGE and business group’s digital assets, including website development, search engine optimization.• Work with Corporate Philanthropy and Community Relations.• Strategically position the group internally with group wide of employees across regions.• Create metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of RGE’s communications strategy and initiatives.• Plan and manage function’s budget and resources to support the communication strategy and overall business objectives.Requirements:To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:• A degree in the related job field.• At least 8 years or more working exposure or experience in a similar role.• Willing to relocate to the job location.When you send us your resume and personal details, it is deemed you have provided your consent to us retaining your information in our talent recruitment database.
