Job Details Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities : 1. Ensure a robust API Q1 QMS compliance in the supply chain management. 2. Perform onsite audits to the supplier (as required) to ensure that all the suppliers are fully complied with all applicable OSI requirements and/or national/ international standard, report all findings to Management. 3. Evaluate initial supplier qualification through Supplier Qualification Questionnaire 4. Evaluate the performance of critical and non-critical suppliers 5. Maintain the performance assessment record of critical suppliers 6. Maintain Approved Supplier list for critical and non-critical suppliers, supplier’s re-evaluation frequency, re-qualification process, outsourcing activity at supplier’s site, and delisting of the supplier process. 7. Analyse supplier’s performance in Monthly Quality Meeting & Management Review Meeting, provide data analysis to QA Engineer 8. Direct raise and follow up Vendor Rejection Report (VRR) to suppliers and follow-through for closeout in a timely manner, seeking approval to QHSE manager for closeout the VRR 9. Performing a remote assessment to verify that relevant product realization processes are being performed in accordance with process controls and are effective in achieving conformity to requirements, 10. Performing inspection, testing, or verification of relevant characteristics of a received product in coordination with QC Engineer/ QC Inspector. 11. Perform other ad hoc tasks which assigned by QHSE Manager Qualification Requirements: Formal Education & Certification 1 Engineering degree or equivalent. 2 Certified as ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor is mandatory. 3 AWS or CSWIP Welding Inspector Certification is required. 4 ASNT NDT Level II or similar qualifications/certifications is preferred. Knowledge & Experience 1 Min 5 years of experience as Supplier Quality Engineer in Oil & Gas industries. 2 Min 2 years of experience in leading / conducting Quality Management System audits, Supplier audits. 3 Experience in API Spec Q1 / Q2 standard is mandatory. 4 Knowledge in welding, forging, machining, NDT, test and assembly processes is required. 5 Knowledge in API Product Specifications and ASME standards will be an added advantage. 6 Knowledge in subsea control and drill-through equipment manufacturing will be an added advantage. 7 Well versed with knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel & Power Point. 8 Effective problem identification and solution skills, eg. Root cause analysis Personal Attributes 1 Self-committed behaviour, willing to accept challenges and responsibilities. 2 Good communication, interpersonal, presentation and technical writing skills. 3 Strong oral and written communication skills, reading and writing skills in English fluently. 4 Analytical skills, such as knowledge of statistical tools and mathematical concepts. 5 Auditing competence and understanding of root cause, corrective and preventive actions. 6 Proactive, good interpersonal skills and good attitude 7 Basic knowledge in understanding engineering drawings and symbols. 8 Proven analytical and organizational ability 9 Willing to travel whether domestic or oversea.
