We’re after you with all your you-ness.   About the role As the Director of Revenue for Mamaka by Ovolo, your primary responsibility will be to maximize revenue and drive market share through effective revenue management strategies and processes. You will work closely with the General Manager, front office, and reservations teams to implement pricing strategies and ensure engagement across all levels   The gig To ensure a high level of repeat business for Mamaka, you will also need excellent analytical, communication, customer service, and organizational skills to be effective. Communicate revenue management across all levels, liaising closely with the General Manager to implement agreed pricing strategies and ensuring engagement from the front office and reservations teams at Mamaka by Ovolo. Drive market share by developing and implementing an overall pricing strategy that encompasses all market segments and distribution channels for Mamaka by Ovolo. Implement revenue management processes to maximize revenue and continually improve revenue management programs and processes at Mamaka by Ovolo. Collect necessary information to establish a database of bookings and events on which the hotel strategy and forecast for Mamaka by Ovolo will be based. Monitor pick-up patterns, lead times, and business trends in a statistical format for Mamaka by Ovolo. Analyse the performance of Mamaka by Ovolo and monitor the market and competitors' past performance and forecasts. Manage and plan all market special events for Mamaka by Ovolo, providing strategic forward planning guidelines to maximize revenue. Create and oversee the effective implementation and compliance of Ovolo Revenue Management Standards and initiatives at Mamaka by Ovolo. Maintain robust distribution platforms and structures for Mamaka by Ovolo, ensuring accurate hotel rate and inventory levels are bookable and in parity. Host weekly Revenue Strategy Meetings at Mamaka by Ovolo to communicate strategy and develop corrective actions for dip dates. Ensure accurate management of all key distribution systems, including SiteMinder, SynXis, and Protel , utilizing them in the most effective manner for Mamaka by Ovolo. Produce accurate forecasts and other standard reports on a weekly and monthly basis for Mamaka by Ovolo. Oversee the collaboration of all hotel rate grids for Mamaka by Ovolo, ensuring they are delivered accurately and in an easy-to-use format. Conduct regular cross-training sessions between the Hotel Manager, General Manager, and/or Reservations Agent at Mamaka by Ovolo to enhance client call handling efficiency. Assist in qualifying all contract rate structures and distribute them to Mamaka by Ovolo accordingly. Act as the key account manager for all Online Travel Agents (OTA), creating and maximizing opportunities for Mamaka by Ovolo, as well as implementing dedicated campaign initiatives. Complete assigned projects and tasks within specified deadlines for Mamaka by Ovolo. Ensure timely loading and visibility of all corporate rates for Mamaka by Ovolo across relevant systems. Assist the event sales team at Mamaka by Ovolo with room rates for group inquiries. Ensure all hotel, room, and rate descriptions are up to date on OTA, GDS, and other distribution channels for Mamaka by Ovolo. Collaborate with the regional sales and marketing team, as well as the property General Manager, to write, implement, and achieve the annual rooms revenue budget for Mamaka by Ovolo And you will have This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
