Main mission The main missions of the Field Services Senior Customer Project Manager are: To manage execution of Field Services customers projects following applicable company policies and processes (CPP4S Customer Project Process for Services) To lead project team (Design, Planning, Purchasing, Contract, On-site implementation… ) and insure customer satisfaction, safety compliance and financial performance To manage Customer relationship and third parties within project scope. Accountable for project execution according to contract & specifications. Execution of Field Services projects is done according to specific rules: - Project Category B : Project flow with medium technical/ contractual risks, mostly managed through local Service Centers, with involvement of Global Services Operations or solution hub for modernization limited to country with low capability. Typically simple engineering, supply and delivery, with site intervention - Project category A : Project flow with high technical/ contractual risks, mostly managed through high capability level country, Global Services Operations or RAC/GAC for modernization. Activities & area responsibility q Lead the project Launch • Project file analysis and transfer from the offer team • Confirmation of budgets and profitability accordingly the DOA • Ensure Order Manager book project properly within ERP including invoicing plan • Validation payment mechanisms (letter of credit, bank guarantee, insurance, payment method, etc...) • Schedule validation and preparation of project planning and clear milestones • Set-up project organization/team, project management plan and responsibilities definitions • Risks analysis and potential change order identification • Organize Internal kick off meeting • Send PO Acknowledgement receipt to customer and confirm the “Coming into Force” • If requested by Customer, organize customer kick off meeting. q Lead the project team through task planning • Responsible to define the project workload plan, follow progress in line with scope of work and deliverable till completion including appropriate risk management and mitigation plans • Animate the communication within the team • Ensure site activity scope & schedule is communicated to FSR manager/planner • WO creation in BFS for site jobs and scheduled in line with project schedule • Manage project contract ensuring fulfillment of Schneider Electric contractual obligations and application of its contractual rights. • Systematic review of deviations against specifications. q Ensure operational Project management success • Is accountable to ensure full safety for involved parties all along project Execution • Understand project’s contractual scope or additional requirements, be pro-active to generate additional customer requests in order to generate additional revenue and improve GM • Take full accountability over project profitability (cost, cash flow & margin) including forecasting, engagements follow-up & re-forecasting. Ensure timely revenue recognition as per forecast • Time Management: Ensure project schedule is made/reviewed/updated and monitor to ensure timely completion of project • Quality Management: Continuously monitor customer satisfaction, and strive for improvement. Lead the issue resolution (hot loop) in the project and provide inputs for continuous improvement (cold loop). Proper customer communication and update • Customer first point of contact on project team interaction (correspondences, emails, calls, meetings, ...) to ensure consistent execution • Ensure project review happens at the appropriate level as per defined project governance process • Ensure timely reporting and escalation to manage project events/issues impacting project performance or compliance with governance principles • Cost Management: Monitor and control Project spending versus budget. Strive for gross margin improvement • Identify and alert on execution risks. Be proactive in resolving associated issues. Escalate to Sales to manage claims & variation orders following the DOA and the associated processes • Accountability on project profitability (cost, cash flow & margin) including forecasting, engagements follow-up & re-forecasting. Ensure timely revenue recognition. Ensure appropriate actions to timely recover customer receivables (payments…) are done with the support of shared functions • Ensure compliance to the statutory requirements • Conduct if necessary Lessons Learned session with Sales and Tendering team to share feedbacks • Anticipate book to bill forecast estimation based on upcoming projects • Is responsible of the proper implementation of Schneider Electric safety standards all along project execution, and for all parties (Schneider and subcontractors) Main interactions Tendering team, Customers, Outside/inside services sales, Operations Director, Design, Technical support, Order Admin, Supply chain, Planner & Site team. Key Success factors • Timely Project completion with compliance to safety, statutory requirement and good customer satisfaction • Anticipate deviations from plans and timelines. Escalate issues at the right time • Project Profitability /GM improvement vs as-sold • Master forecast of Project Sales & Book to Bill & GM • Demonstrated soft skills in Negotiations, Change Management & Conflictual conversations with customers • Good customer intimacy • Project Team management (internal relationship and level of cooperation within the team) from sales, tendering to operational execution with special attention on site logistic. • Good collaboration with sales team for change order management. Performance measurement • Safety: Serious incidents and agreed safety KPIs during project • Customer satisfaction : NSS for the touch point “Get project delivered” at country target level • On time delivery/execution • Gross Margin as booked” and “as realized” • Sales Forecast accuracy on project backlog Portfolio • Variation Orders generated • CPP4S (Customer Project Process for Services ) compliance • PM Timesheets • Overdue • Compliance with contractual technical specifications (delegated to the Technical Leader) and SE Principe or responsibility. Activities and areas of responsibility Qualifications Education & skills Education • Engineering and/or Business University Degree • Master Degree is a plus Technical requirements • Medium and Low Voltage distribution solutions, Data Center (BMS and Automation) and/or UPS solutions • Schneider Electric Services Offer knowledge is required • Mastering project management software tools (MS Excel, MS Project) Language requirements • English fluency is a must • Another language will be valuable Schedule: Full-time Req: V8B
