Sales Support and Business Development Manager

Main Responsibilities• Support the development of (technical) sales strategies related to business plans for assigned and potential accounts to ensure their satisfaction with the company's products and to achieve and exceed budgeted sales volume/business targets• Consult customers regarding the purchase of company's products and discuss recommendations for product introduction to ensure a successful launch• Support the identification of new customers, opportunities and applications or products by participating in industry trade shows in order to realize new business• Gather, assimilate and analyze market and competitive information to facilitate the identification of new market trends and the projects to address these• Coordinate and update annual sales forecast as a reliable base to plan, monitor and control company's salesManage sales of local currency business and provide internal consultancy on market information ; explicitly excludes support of USD business​Coordinates the information flow between the Covestro business owner and customers, to thereby help the Covestro business owner to complete price-volume negotiations and resolve complaints / problems. Qualification Requirements (Education & Work Experience)• Bachelor degree in a technical or business discipline.• Formal technical training plus substantial working experience in sales and technical fieldChinese speaking prefer• Optional: Some experience in project managementWHAT YOU OFFER
