Opportunity As a full-time on-site Video Editor located in Jakarta, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our brand image and videos. You will be responsible for the entire production process and assembling raw footage into polished videos. With transitions, visual effects, graphics, and sound effects, you will enhance the overall quality of the videos to elevate our content and make it more compelling for viewers. Responsibilities Edit and enhance raw video footage to create polished, engaging video content that effectively communicates our brand message and drives user engagement across various platforms, including social media, websites, email campaigns, and advertising. Collaborate closely with the marketing team and videographers to understand project objectives, target audience, and brand guidelines, ensuring all video content aligns with our brand identity and messaging. Use video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, to assemble footage, add transitions, cut sequences, adjust color grading, and apply visual effects as needed. Ensure consistency and continuity in video style, pacing, and tone, maintaining a cohesive look and feel across all video content while adhering to project deadlines and specifications. Provide creative input and suggestions for improving video content, including pacing, storytelling, and visual enhancements, to maximize audience engagement and effectiveness. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in video editing and production, continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and improve our visual content strategy. Requirements Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of video projects across different formats and platforms. Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, as well as knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects. Strong technical proficiency in video editing techniques, including color correction, audio mixing, and video compression, with the ability to deliver high-quality video content that meets project requirements. Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous approach to editing, ensuring seamless transitions, precise timing, and consistent visual quality in all video projects. Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a knack for finding the most compelling narrative in raw footage. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Passion for technology and an interest in the smart home industry is a plus.
