As part of Renoir’s Digital and Data Centre of Excellence (CoE) team, the Data Business Analyst will be the main liaison between the client stakeholders and Renoir’s CoE team, will define data and reporting requirements from the business users, and will pro-actively challenge those data and reporting requirements. The Data Business Analyst will provide a summary report in an easy-to-understand format and offer recommendations to solve business problems and improve the utilisation of data across the organisation. The Data Business Analyst will interpret data, patterns, and trends, analyse results, and use statistical techniques along with third-party solutions to provide the platform to support the CoE team in delivering the required work. This will enable us to turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions through reporting visualisations. The Data Business Analyst will create the required visualisations and dashboards in Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense. The Data Business Analyst will ensure the data processes are aligned to the CoE operational model, governance, development, testing standards, and deployment model. The CoE team must also ensure that all activities related to their deliverables are aligned with Renoir’s Data Governance Model and best practices. Responsibilities: Gather and define reporting and data requirements from business users. Pro-actively identify business challenges in relation to reporting and data. Conduct, along with the CoE team, a full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities, and design. The Data Business Analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities and identify data needs from Renoir’s clients. Developing and implementing data analysis, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimise data efficiency and quality by using third-party systems from Renoir’s vendors. Filter and “clean” data by reviewing system reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct data problems. Scrutinises information using data analysis tools to identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. Present data findings or translate the data into an understandable document by creating visualisations and dashboards in Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense to be presented to business stakeholders to help interpret and make decisions with the data. Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining centralised databases. Collaborating with the CoE team and client stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for data governance. Creating appropriate documentation that allows client stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process. Identify new business questions that can add value to Renoir’s clients. Quantify the benefit potential of Data Analytics solutions using ROI frameworks to aid in the prioritisation of development and definition with the client. Requirements: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Management, or a relevant field. At least 4 years of experience as a Data Business Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role. Experience utilising one of the following visualisation solutions: Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to translate business requirements into technical and non-technical requirements, lay out terms, and draft a comprehensive document with the requirements (BRD). Excellent communication and client engagement skills. Experience in project management, including planning, execution, and stakeholder management. Demonstrated experience in Digital Transformation initiatives. Prior experience in a consulting role is a plus. Exposure and proficiency in modern data technologies and cloud environments, with a solid understanding of data management principles and best practices. Excellent organisational and analytical abilities, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results on time. Technical expertise regarding data models and reporting packages. Experience working in the UI/UX landscape, such as wire frames, prototypes, mock-ups, or whiteboarding to illustrate product usability. Understanding addressing and metadata standards An understanding and appreciation of the consultancy lifestyle. Experience in the Indonesian market and the ASEAN region is preferred. Experience in the Malaysian market and the ASEAN region is preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, and ideally in Bahasa too.
