Social Media Specialist (Indonesia) Fixed term contract As a Social Media Specialist for all things social media, you will help to lead, build and execute the social and engagement strategy, initiatives and projects that connect products and services to its users through relevant social media touchpoints. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and external agencies while managing initiatives across B2C, B2B,  and Brand. You have your hands on the pulse of the internet and social media culture and are able to connect it with the world's largest technology company’s products and services.  You would be working closely with respective country social lead and product marketing managers to drive advocacy and brand love on Social. In order to achieve this, you will need to use data-driven insights collected from various touch points - especially social listening - to inspire and improve the effectiveness of all social efforts: from always-on content, socially-led campaigns and influencer activations. Your ability to add a strategic lens to solve complex problems and manage multiple projects and stakeholders mixed with creative thinking is paramount to the role. Your goal is to drive earned marketing results alongside local marketing teams and external creative social agencies. Role: Develop and manage social marketing activities for the country: always-on content, campaigns and influencer programs that drive results depending on the goal of product and service activations. Manage and organize social editorial calendar while overseeing all content, including copy, creative assets and publishing across owned social channels. This includes liaising with internal stakeholders to source assets, including images, videos, copy and design. Manage SEA Social budget and have oversight of social budget of the countries. Work closely with agencies to generate creative ideas and validate social media strategy before, during, and after launching campaigns and programmes. Provide strategic social media expertise and generate ideas for the local market, helping to implement engaging brand narratives into a wider integrated marketing plan. Expand data into insights while building a narrative that will fuel social media campaigns and programmes as part of the wider country-specific marketing initiatives.  Identify and escalate areas of concern and opportunities for the brand and pitch fresh, innovative ideas to drive engagement and community. Partner with cross-functional teams on social strategy and execution to capture the brand’s presence and engagement with the end users.  Manage analytics, track audience growth and generate campaign-specific metrics. Build and manage strong relationships with influencers throughout various verticals to increase authentic advocacy and brand love. Collect and share insights and trends from social communities to improve future campaigns. You: Degree in Business, Commerce, or Marketing preferred, or equivalent industry experience. 4+ years of experience in marketing, advertising or related industry, preferably both agency and in-house experience, managing social presence and strategy for global brands, ideally in the technology space.  You’ve ideally held a Social Media Strategist, Digital Strategist, Social Media Manager and /or Social Media Marketing Manager role in the past while working with external creative and social agencies.  A strategic and creative thinker who is able to navigate around an always-on social landscape. Prior experience managing end-to-end social media projects from strategy to execution, including localised content creation and copywriting, community management, localisation, tracking and reporting. Strong technical knowledge of social platforms, paid media, content strategy and community management. Solid project management experience, managing complex and dynamic social projects from start to finish and coordinating communication and assets across multidisciplinary stakeholders. Proficient understanding of social media analytics and experience with social media publishing tools like Sprinklr, Hootsuite or Sprout Social. Ability to bring order and attention to detail to complex stages of each project. Prior experience with communicating with local and geographically dispersed stakeholders to deliver clear instructions and messaging. Passionate about working as part of a larger team to deliver on a common goal.
