Senior Sales Engineer, Separation Palm Oil & Renewable Resources

Responsibilities / Tasks Searching for new clients who could benefit from our products and maintaining existing, relationships with customers:Main focus will be selling the product group separation into palm oil, edible oil, starch industry and/or other renewable resources industries.He/she should aim to build and maintain long term business relationships with new and existing customers in all levels through appropriate sales approaches and strategies to ensure continuous business growth.The candidate should be able to give a general overview about the GEA Group complete product portfolio. He/she should understand himself as mechanical separation senior/ sales engineer and be able to interpret customer requirements in a wide range of industries.Will be able to support after sales business as well via selling contract preventive maintenance packages to customersTravelling to visit potential clients (up to 50% of the time):The sales engineer shall be mainly on the road talking to potential clients and not sitting in the office. He shall be seen as front row (to break the ice) sales person who will gather client requests and generate a sales report.His/Her day to day job will be to visit clients in Indonesia for product trainings and sometimes tradeshows or sales meetings to overseas.Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needsCreating and conducting technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needsPreparing Sales Proposal, Contract, and Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions, together with legal team.Proactively collect or gather market intelligence data in assigned market / application to continually building the pipelines of new projects.Continually Administering & Updating client accounts, sales opportunities, client visits/calls and sales figures in CRM.Meeting sales targets:Financial KPI examples = Order intake, Gross margin (GM), Topline GrowthNon-financial KPI examples = Number of client visits, Number of quotations, Number of calls, Cross Selling GEA products portfoliosSupporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing eventsIntensive teamwork with back-office sales support team, and other related departments to ensure timely and successful delivery of products and services.Your Profile / QualificationsUniversity degree in Engineering or equivalentMinimum 3-5 years previous experience in B2B Sales of industrial equipment / machinery in Food & Beverage markets, especially in palm oil and starch industry.Has a hunter mindset and posseses good skillsets in prospecting new accounts.Has a diverse and extensive network of related industry.Strong interpersonal and communication skill, able to work well in a team setting.Excellent Business English (written and spoken) is required.Outgoing, confident, positive and willing to actively approach the Indonesian market and try to get visits!
