As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 8 years' experience in sales and business development in a multinational company for the job of Business Development Specialist. The job is based in Cileungsi, Bogor, Indonesia.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and target new business opportunities in the industrial sector, focusing on building materials, to expand our market presence.Develop and execute strategies to engage specifiers, architects, designers, and other key decision-makers to ensure our products are included in projects.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, specifiers, and industry stakeholders, fostering long-term partnerships.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights, and translate them into actionable business plans.Lead presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations to secure new business deals and partnerships.Monitor industry developments and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly and maintain a competitive edge.Develop and manage a pipeline of potential projects, track progress, and report on sales and business development activities.Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network, showcase our products, and stay updated on industry trends.RequirementsBachelor's degree in civil engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field.Minimum 8 years of successful sales experience in the building materials or related industry.Proven track record in business development, preferably in the industrial sector with a focus on building materials.Experience in specifier engagement, with the ability to understand and meet the unique needs of architects, designers, and specifiers.Strong network of contacts within the building material industry and specifier community is advantageous.Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively convey the value of our products and secure new partnerships.Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse market trends, identify opportunities, and develop targeted strategies.Self-motivated and driven to exceed targets while effectively managing time and priorities.Willingness to travel to industry events, client meetings, and other relevant activities as needed.Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software.
