Job Description Manage budgets responsibly on all accountsDemonstrate the confidence and competence to maintain overall control on all financial matters relating to designated clients including: billing, profitability, forecasting and servicingMaintain senior level client contact on a regular basis and ensure full understanding of client business, internal and external influencing factors, budgeting constraints and PR needsEnsure all accounts are maintained within agreed budgets and timetablesEnsure review processes and annual PR programme is in place for each clientEnsure programme is implemented according to pre-agreed programmeMaintain rigorous quality control over work produced by junior staffProactively cultivate industry contacts on ongoing basis to unearth new business leads and gain opportunities to pitch businessPartner with division director in migrating client relationships to other practices within MSL and / or within sister companies, resulting in one client migration each yearFoster relationships with sister Publicis Groupe organisations for cross-selling and networking purposes; convert one collaborative opportunity with a Groupe company each yearHold regular internal and external client review meetings to evaluate progress on each account, identify most successful activities, identify problems and review overall objectives and strategyMaintain consistent work flow from team member to team member through effective staff allocation on accounts and attention to work flow changesDirect and develop a number of account teams and be responsible for the achievement of objectives, within agreed timelines and budgetsNurture morale and teamwork within the group of accounts you supervise and provide all staff with growth opportunities within agencyHandle issues and crisis management on behalf of clientsWork with teams to enter MSL and industry Awards with client programmesDevelop new ideas and strategies for existing clients and identify opportunities to demonstrate new initiatives on behalf of clientsActively seek out new business prospects and convert into pitch opportunitiesTake an active role in new business gainDevelop new business programmes, taking the lead on developing, managing the pitch process, that wins new businessQualificationsOutstanding verbal and written communication skills – a strong writer and editorStrong leadership and mentoring skillsCreate a productive work environment for employees within the practice areaEnsure professional growth and career development opportunities for employees within the practice areaAbility to handle multiple assignments/projectsStrong presentation skillsUnderstand how and when to delegateUnderstand and practice financial management techniquesStrong leadership/team building abilityDemonstrate client relations, strategic thinking, new business skillsRegional coordination and strategic development experience idealMinimum 8 - 10 years previous experience required
