Description Position Summary This role position ensures effective implementation and execution of the Kraft Heinz Supplier Quality Management System across an assigned product category. The position provides visible quality leadership ensuring that KFG supplier quality standards are understood and met through on-site assessments. This position also ensures that best practices are replicated across the category. This position requires travel up to 70%. Primary ResponsibilitiesResponsible for managing an assigned portion of suppliers Provide day-to-day guidance and support to their team, including onboarding and training of new team members. This role conducts on-site Audits at assigned suppliers Review supplier HACCP plans and 3rd party audits for compliance to Kraft Heinz Supplier Expectations Review Food Fraud vulnerabilities within their portfolioEngage with KHC factories impacted by Supplier performance within portfolio and seek improvement from suppliers.Engage Procurement and Business partners to align on overall annual business goals for category Manage Relationships with our 2nd party Contracted AuditorsMonitor, track and report progress against supplier quality goals to key stakeholders (i.e. RDQI Leads, Quality and Procurement Directors, etc.) Monitor industry Quality and Food Safety events and determine impact to KraftHeinz. Support supplier related special situations fact finding and resolution. Ensure resolution of chronic and/or serious supplier quality issues and develop programs and strategies to prevent future issues Provides Training in systems related to SCQMProvides analytical data in performance on key SCQM KPIsProvide input to Corporate Supplier Quality PolicySupport Corporate GFSI audits pertaining to SCQMQualificationsBS Degree in Food Science, Microbiology or other related field Food safety and regulatory requirements Supplier expectations in Food Safety, Regulatory and Quality Fundamental statistics (DMAIC Process/DFSS/Lean/Metrology/MSA/Sampling Procedures) 3-5 years of experience in food or CPG Experience in plant and/or corporate quality Experience in RDQI Working knowledge of quality systems and policies, HACCP, and ISO/GFSI systems Lean Six Sigma to support Supplier Integration Understanding of the procurement processes Location(s)Glenview R&D Center
