Process Engineer

Company Overview:Our client is a multinational chemical company, one of the largest specialty chemicals companies in the world.  Responsibilities:As a Process Engineer in our chemical company, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and reliability of our manufacturing processes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing chemical processes to meet production goals and regulatory standards. Your duties will include conducting process simulations, performing equipment sizing and selection, troubleshooting operational issues, and recommending process improvements. Additionally, you will contribute to process hazard analyses, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Drive innovation and excellence in our manufacturing operations. Proposes Continuous Improvement actions with regards to the site performance improvement initiatives Expected Qualification:Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.Proven experience working as a Process Engineer in the chemical manufacturing industry, with a minimum of three [3] years of relevant experience.In-depth knowledge of chemical engineering principles, process design, and unit operations.Strong understanding of safety regulations, environmental compliance standards, and industry best practices.Experience in process optimization, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify opportunities for process improvement.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
