The Assistant Director of Human Resources is responsible for planning, managing, controlling, coordinating and participating in Human Resources, General Affair and Training activities such as the administration of budget, benefits, wages and salaries, labor and employee relations, training for the formulation and recommendation to implement and execute the hotel policies rules, procedures and programs within the scope of the budget with a well-defined management norms to ensure a smooth operation. Produces Human Resources and Training reports and statistics, analyzes results, and discusses with Department Heads when required. Manages Human Resources and Training Division, ensuring compliance with all hotel policies and procedures both local and government regulations pertaining to employment practices. Develops and implements recruiting and screening systems and procedures in order to attract most qualified candidates for position vacancies. Coordinates with requisitioning departments in the recruitment of employee following established standards, policies and procedures assist them in the orientation training, development and evaluation on their employee. Directs supervisor of training department and ensure all its activities are in accordance with the needs of the hotel and all training program has been smoothly executed. Supervises that staff coordinates in the work plan on safety, hygiene, and cleanliness. Monitors the administration of the performance appraisal program and act in advisory capacity to Department Heads of such process. Maintains and updates files on employee records, legal documents, policies and procedures, and all matters which cover the employees/ hotel relationships. Analyzes hotel manpower requirements in order to recommend on selection and development activities to meet those requirements. Monitors present and future trends in the local labor situation, social legislation and make recommendations relating thereto. Regularly inspects employee canteen, locker rooms lockers and other employee facilities to ensure they are well operated and maintained. Ensures and reviews all necessary documentation pertaining to Training Department and pass on to the department concern for evaluation. Discuss and counsels’ hotel employee as needed in areas such as career planning, training and development, employee relations. Implements and monitors an effective employee relations and motivation programs in the hotel. Disseminate information affecting employer-employee relations, employee activities and hotel policies and programs. Coordinates and execute employees’ social, sport and recreational activities. Requirements Experience in same filed at least 3 years. Excellent verbal and written English language skills. Second language is a plus. Has strong and effective communication in writing, business presentations, and interpersonal communication. Has the ability to direct the efforts of a team of diverse human resources professionals. Has the ability to lead in an environment of constant change. Has proven track contribution in organization development and change management. Has strong background in the following areas: Recruitment & selection Human resources operations Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or other relevant fields. A Master’s Degree is a plus.
