The Head of Operations will strategically and operationally oversee the division, encompassing the Due Diligence Department, Claim Investigation Department, Fraud Detection and Investigation Department and Brand Protection Department. This pivotal role focuses on ensuring operational excellence, upholding compliance standards, and steering the division towards achieving its objectives across Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in one or more of the following fields: due diligence, claims investigation, fraud detection and investigation, whistleblowing, or brand protection. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Leadership and Management: - Develop, implement, and oversee operational strategies that align with the company's mission and goals. - Lead and direct departmental supervisors and teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. 2. Expertise in Specialized Fields: - Apply expertise in areas like due diligence, claims investigation, fraud detection, whistleblowing, and/or brand protection to guide and enhance departmental operations. - Use specialized knowledge to innovate and improve processes, methodologies, and client outcomes. 3. Operations Oversight: - Manage daily activities across all departments, ensuring performance standards are met. - Ensure effective resource allocation and utilization, optimizing operational efficiency. 4. Compliance and Risk Management: - Guarantee compliance with international and local laws and regulations in all jurisdictions. - Manage risk through effective strategies, mitigating potential operational hazards. 5. Performance and Quality Management: - Establish and monitor key performance indicators to ensure quality and operational excellence. - Drive continuous improvement through diligent process evaluation and adjustment. 6. Stakeholder Management: - Maintain and build relationships with external partners, regulatory bodies, and other key stakeholders. - Act as the primary point of contact for operations-related inquiries. 7. Budget and Financial Oversight: - Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning within the division. - Ensure cost-effective allocation and management of resources. 8. Team Leadership and Development: - Cultivate a high-performing team, focusing on skill development, motivation, and career growth. - Promote a culture of excellence, ethics, and ongoing learning. Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field. - Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in operational management, with substantial expertise in one or several of the following areas: due diligence, claims investigation, fraud detection, whistleblowing, brand protection. - Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of managing diverse, cross-functional teams. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Comprehensive understanding of operational, financial, and HR management. - Proven ability in risk management, compliance, and quality control. - Knowledge of the legal/regulatory landscapes in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. - Proficiency in English and ideally in one or more regional languages.
