Job Purpose and ImpactThe HR Operations Specialist I, will provide timely and accurate administration of routine payroll, time and attendance and other operational activities. In this role, you will complete, verify and process forms and documentation to coordinate benefits, such as pension plans and unemployment and medical insurance. You will understand the full end to end payroll process and how your activities integrate into the overall processes and you will monitor data to ensure accurate and compliant processes and procedures are applied.Key AccountabilitiesProvide information to employees and managers on payroll matters, tax issues and benefit plans.Help maintain and reconcile payroll records and verify and coordinate payroll data.Perform routine administration and support for human resources and payroll services and end to end timekeeping system activities to enable accurate, timely and compliant payroll processes including collect and report leaves – sickness leaves, paid and unpaid leaves.Review data for payroll transactions to look for inconsistencies and correct payroll errors before they happen.Review, understand and interpret union agreements or other working agreements as it relates to specific pay practices and policies.Responsible for support and execution of new payroll and time and attendance system user training for supervisors and other system administrators.Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.Other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience3 years solid experiences in HR Operations Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and experience with HR databasesConfirmed customer service skillsOther minimum qualifications may applyPreferred QualificationsHuman capital management or payroll system experienceProficient in English and other language, verbal and writtenFamiliar with using business intelligence tools such as power BI, etc
