The Duty Engineer manages the maintenance and repair of the hotel buildings, grounds and contents in a cost-effective manner, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all plant and equipment. This role is concerned with assisting in the supervision of all repair, maintenance and new installations, ensuring the safety operations in the hotel. He / she effectively communicates and solves the questions guests encountered.  What will I be doing? As the Duty Engineer, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:  To receive trouble report from various department.Allocate daily assignment to Technician.To oversee general repairs, fabricates, installations, operation and preventive with regards to electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, fire protection, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, painting, kitchen equipment, sound and MATV system, sewage plants etc.Reads log books and follow up as requiredUpdates logbook and communicates important informationTo ensure all works carried out should be in schedule, and should fully comply with local safety rules and regulations.To perform general routine inspection of company’s vital operation machinery, equipment and public lightings so as to ensure smooth operating as to schedule.To distribute spare-parts, equipment, supplies to Engineering Technicians.To update bin cards and re-order parts.To fill form and summarize all issuing inventory items on daily basis.Performs any special duties assigned by Section Engineer / Assistant Chief EngineeringWhat are we looking for?   A Duty Engineer serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members.
