Head of Finance & Accounting

We are seeking a dynamic Head of Finance & Accounting to oversee the financial operations of our client's office buildings and shopping malls portfolio in Medan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, strategic financial planning, and compliance with regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:Financial Planning and Analysis:Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize the performance of office buildings and shopping malls.Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to support decision-making processes.Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Financial Reporting and Compliance:Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data through effective internal controls and reconciliation processes.Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to facilitate the audit process. Cash Flow Management:Manage cash flow and liquidity to meet operational needs and maximize returns on investment.Oversee accounts receivable and payable, optimizing collections and payments to maintain financial stability. Taxation and Compliance:Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including timely preparation and filing of tax returns.Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and advise management on potential implications for the business. Leadership and Team Development:Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting professional growth and development. FINANCEQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.Minimum 8 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with specific experience in property management preferred.Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools/software.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
