About the roleThis role is a key leadership appointment with the responsibility to manage and important commercial segment of the business. The role will require the incumbent to managing a diverse set of strategically key customers of Diversey – a Solenis company and work with teams spread across the Asia Pacific countries. The role is part of Diversey’s F&B business division.The key responsibilities for the role entailImplement global and regional account strategyDeliver the growth plan for the SectorGrow market share of Diversey within the key accounts of the SectorEnsure high customer satisfaction through net promoter scorecard. Lead and motivate the country sales team to reach and exceed customer expectationsIdentify customer need and deliver value through Diversey’s product/service portfolioThorough understanding of customer potentialWork with Technical team to expand customer potential through innovationsMonitor and improve upon service delivery modelsWork with country business teams to deliver the promise to customersActively be involved in coaching and development of various teamsActively collaborate with other functions like supply chain, technical, HR as per business needsThe role will require extensive travel as per business needsExternal interfaceSenior leaders, mid level managers and operating teams in customer organizations – Technical, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, Maintenance, Quality and Food Safety etcSenior leaders in OEMs that cater to the industryKey contacts in various industry bodiesInternal interfaceCluster business leaders, Country business leadersCountry sales and technical teamsFunctional leaders and teams in Marketing, Supply Chain, R&D, Finance etcRegional Vice PresidentGlobal Account Management teams – commercial and technicalIndustry background of the incumbentWhile it is not mandatory, it is preferable for the incumbent to have experience in or from the below industriesKey account manager or client servicing executive of a product and services company like hygiene, water treatment, specialty chemicals and other B2B manufacturing/services industries etcExposure to the food & beverage manufacturing industry can be desirable but not mandatoryOEM to the food & beverage industry, key material supplier to the food & beverage industryEducation & skill backgroundShould have a technical backgroundUndergraduate degree or post graduate degree in engineering; food/dairy technology; chemistry; science. This position needs to have a good understanding of technical issues.Management qualification is desirable but not essentialGood command over English language is mandatoryThe Key Account Manager - Processed Foods APAC shall be responsible for driving profitable business growth at identified key/strategic accounts in the Asia Pacific market. The incumbent will be responsible for nurturing and developing the talent pool for the Asia Pacific business
