Program Officer - Jakarta (Indonesia)  Amnesty International National Office Location: Jakarta Job Type:Permanent Working Hours: 40 hours per week Closing Date : 31 March 2024 Amnesty International Indonesia is seeking a professional with demonstrated experience in project management to contribute to the development and support of Amnesty International. ABOUT THE ROLE Through close collaboration with colleagues, strategic partners and other parties, identify areas for implementation of Collective Action Lab projects—a project aiming to empower social justice activism and cultivate a vibrant and supportive ecosystem for youth movement. To ensure that these projects are planned, implemented, monitored and evaluated to the highest possible standards as set out in the organization's policies and procedures, as well as distributing the knowledge gained from the project to empower the Human Rights Defenders (HRDs), Social Justice Leaders (SJLs) and partners.   ABOUT YOU The suitable candidate must be fluent in written and spoken English and have strong knowledge of project management and office support. Substantial, relevant experience in a similar role. Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Ability to work in a high-pressured environment while managing competing priorities and deadlines. ABOUT US Amnesty International Indonesia is a national human rights entity that is part of a global human rights movement, established to address national human rights priorities as well as create the possibility for people in Indonesia to join Amnesty International's global human rights campaigns. Our mission in Indonesia is to address pertinent national human rights issues through research, campaigning and human rights education, and to empower Indonesians to take action on issues that matter to them through AI's international human rights movement; and to leverage Indonesia's influence regionally and globally to promote human rights domestically, bilaterally and internationally.
