This position plays a vital role in supporting the Senior Chief Baker and the bakery team by supervising the bakery area. The Chef de Partie - Bakery is responsible for executing recipes, maintaining strict quality standards, and contributing to creating visually appealing and innovative bakery items. By meticulously managing their section and assisting in various bakery operations, this role helps uphold the hotel's reputation for culinary excellence, ensuring that guests enjoy a memorable and delightful dining experience.QualificationsCulinary Education: A formal culinary education or a pastry and bakery program.Bakery Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in bakery operations.Luxury Hotel Exposure: Prior experience working in luxury hotels or upscale restaurants is advantageous, as it demonstrates an understanding of the service and quality standards expected.Leadership Skills: Some experience in a supervisory role or as a lead baker is beneficial, showcasing the ability to manage a section and delegate tasks effectively. Menu Knowledge: Familiarity with bakery menu items, recipes, and a creative flair to contribute to menu development and innovation.
