The Supply Chain Flow Design Engineer will lead supply chain network optimization projects from pre-study to implementation and be responsible its execution. This role will work closely with various supply chain field (IT, finance, transportation, logistic, tax& customs and planning teams The ideal candidate is a pragmatic and efficient professional qualified on project management, enjoying to see improvement from actions. This individual will apply proven operational, analytical, communication, and problem solving skills to help maximize the benefit for operations, turning functional business requirements into effective design solutions and reduction of the cost to serve. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. He will be expected to commit to the highest standards of moral and business ethics. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead Supply Chain Flow optimization projects from pre-study to implementation and be responsible for its execution. Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain (Finance, Transportation, Logistics, Planning) , IT, corporate cross-functional partners, and Business Units to ensure adequate flow of information is communicated between departments. to deliver enhancements that drive efficiency and optimization of our supply chain operations. Develop, improve, and maintain flow network and capacity through various action plans Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements, goals, and identify/resolve gaps Prepare and defend business case and return-on-investment proposals for Supply Chain projects (Impacts on Lead Time, cost to serve, transport optimization, logistic operations, IT developments…) Document functional business requirement and interpret into system designs, and utilize standard templates to accurately and concisely write requirement and functional specifications Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and systems, and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging them Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential problem areas in Supply Chain Processes and systems across the organization Collaborate & lead in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new processes and applications Development and management of methodologies to calculate optimal system settings (case packs, ship units) to reduce network operating costs Develop scorecards, dashboards, and exception reports to pinpoint opportunities for improvement in the supply chain network Additional duties as assigned by manager Scope What is the expected contributions of the position to the results of the organization · Support the Flow Design organization to elaborate concept, build business cases and implement solutions · Support the Businesses Unit with all logistics elements of new product launch and end-of-life projects for EAJ · Support the Industrial Transformation group with all logistics elements of production transfers for EAJ · Identify and realize opportunities for optimizing the supply chain in EAJ Supply Chain Design expertise · Provide expertise related to flow design, inventory policy, free-trade agreements, EDI, warehousing and transport capabilities · Strategy and Priorities alignment · Projects delivered within planning and cost · Monitor and control the flows of products in/out Asia-Pacific New product launch / end-of-life · Coordinate with the Project Manager from the Business Unit and the Industrial Project Leader. · Design the supply chain (stocking policy, transport, warehousing, order processing, EDI). · Implement the new elements to the supply chain · Ensure master data is available all along the supply chain Industrial transfer · Coordinate with the Industrial Project Leader · Design the supply chain (stocking policy, transport, warehousing, order processing, EDI) · Implement the new elements to the supply chain · Ensure master data is available all along the supply chain · Monitor the transfer Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or other technical field from an accredited university · Familiarity with Supply Chain Management concepts, e.g., forecasting, planning, procurement, flow optimization, and logistics · Advanced knowledge of Office tools is required (PowerPoint, Excel) · Experienced in SAP environment and Tableau Software · Excellent written and verbal communication skills complemented with the ability to problem solve independently · +5 years of work experience in Supply Chain with expertise in project management Schedule: Full-time Req: QPQ
