As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 8 years of experience in Accountant and Finance in a multinational company for the job of Project Accountant Lead. The job is based in Jakarta Area, Indonesia.Responsibility:The role entails overseeing project accounting practices, ensuring adherence to financial management plans and project governance.Responsibilities include managing project finances, invoicing, and reporting, as well as supporting project leaders in securing fair variations.Additionally, the role involves analyzing project performance data, maintaining forecasting, and fostering relationships with clients and partners.The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, possesses 3-5 years of relevant experience, and exhibits proficiency in project accounting, financial management, and cost control.They must demonstrate integrity, discretion, and adherence to regulations and company policies, along with strong communication and administrative skills.The position involves advocating and implementing best practices in project accounting, encompassing financial management, governance, and reporting. Responsibilities include optimizing working capital, ensuring compliance with invoicing cycles, and supporting project leaders with documentation for variations.Collaboration with corporate partners and analysis of project performance data are key aspects.They must uphold integrity, comply with regulations and policies, and possess excellent communication and organizational abilities, while being capable of independent work and teamwork.Qualifications:The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with a preference for 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.Proven expertise in project accounting, financial management, and cost control is desirable, along with the ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.Experience in implementing robust systems for safeguarding sensitive financial data and a strong commitment to ethical conduct are crucial.The candidate must adhere to industry regulations and company policies related to financial transactions and reporting.Exposure or knowledge in project and contract management is preferred.Strong administrative, communication, time management, and teamwork skills are also essential.The candidate should be detail-oriented, capable of working independently, and proactive in taking initiatives.
