Key Account Executive Jogja JOB PURPOSE The Key Account Executive (KAE) position managing and nurturing relationships with company’s key clients (e.g: hospitals and institution business) within Pharmaceuticals Commercial Operations, Cluster – Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore. The KAE will serve as the primary point of contact for these clients, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded. The KAE focus will be on understanding their business objectives and providing tailored solutions to help them achieve success. He / She collaborates strongly with Sales Manager, Portfolio / Brand squads, Customer Engagement Squads. This position will contribute to strategies and business plans for the achievement of overall business objectives. They will assist the Head of Sales in the implementation of commercial strategies. They will support and maximize business potential across the following key areas of responsibility: - Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients. - Understand the business goals and challenges of each client and propose solutions that align with their objectives. - Act as the liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and smooth execution of projects. - Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts. - Prepare regular reports and updates on account status, including sales forecast and client feedback - Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats or opportunities. - Handle any issues or concerns raised by clients in a timely and professional manner. - Continuously seek ways to add value to client relationships and drive customer satisfaction. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Client Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, acting as their trusted advisor and advocate within the organization. Understand Client Needs Proactively engage with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and opportunities, and provide tailored solutions that align with their goals. Collaborate with Internal Teams Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product management/development, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients. Drive Client Success Take ownership of client satisfaction and success, regularly monitoring client satisfaction metrics and proactively addressing any issues or concerns that arise. Identify Growth Opportunities Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding the scope of services provided, driving revenue growth and customer retention. Business stability and activation Ensuring the sustainability and development of business in hospitals and institutions, both government and private Build and strengthening relationships with stakeholders to support the sustainability and development of Bayer's business both government and private (Ministry, Hospitals and Institutions) Ensure the product standardization process in hospitals or institutions and ensure the availability of drugs to support patient services and access in the hospital or institution. To explore business opportunity in hospital and institutions sector especially for new hospitals and new institutions Success of company programs in hospital and institutional sectors such as business programs (Hospital Pay for Performance - P4P) or non-business programs (Patient Affordability Program -PAP) and other programs that are still related to patient care. Play a role of Market Intelligence such as competitor activities or market dynamic developments in general and proceed the information to those who need it to support company decisions To collaborate with Distributors to ensure the availability and usege of products and on-time delivery services Prioritizing customer satisfaction and act as a problem solver related to the costumer complain Manage profitability by monitoring discounts rate and rebates in accordance with what has been set by the company Achieve growth targets and considering sustainability business in the long-term perspective Work closely with sales, marketing and medical teams to ensure the implementation of marketing activities at the hospital and institutional levels Ensure successful sales either through regular manual orders, e purchases or through tender mechanisms WHO YOU ARE Minimum Bachelor s degree At least 5+ years of pharmaceutical commercial experience in sales and/or marketing across a range of therapeutic areas and across retail and ethical channels. 2+ years’ experience in Key Account Management and/or leading sales teams. Strong Negotiation Skill Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite. Mobile for work location ad willingness to travel as needed Strong Communication and Presentation Skill: Ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders, conveying complex ideas and information clearly and concisely. Client Relationship Management: proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, driving client satisfaction and loyalty. Problem-solving Abilities: Demonstrated ability to identify client needs, analyze complex problems, and develop innovative solutions to meet client objectives. Collaborative Mindset: Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, valuing diverse perspectives and contributions. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing client priorities and requirements. Knowledge of Business Operations: Understanding of business operation, sales processes, and best practices, with the ability to contribute strategically to client success. Good English Communication Skill: Fluent in English both speaking and writing will be plus value.
