Job DescriptionThe Food and Beverage Sales Coordinator supports the Assistant Food and Beverage Sales Manager and the sales team in driving revenue and achieving sales goals. This role is crucial in coordinating and facilitating the smooth execution of sales activities related to food and beverage. The Food and Beverage Sales Coordinator assists in managing inquiries, responding to client requests, and preparing sales proposals and contracts. They work closely with clients to understand their needs and requirements, offering personalized solutions and ensuring a seamless booking process. Additionally, the Food and Beverage Sales Coordinator collaborates with various departments within the hotel, such as culinary and food & beverage service teams, to ensure the successful execution of events and deliver exceptional guest experiences. They assist in maintaining accurate sales records, generating reports, and analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for revenue growth.QualificationsEducation: A high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates with a degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field are preferred.Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or in the food and beverage department is required. This could include experience as a sales coordinator, banquet coordinator, or F&B administrative assistant.Sales Support and Execution: As a Food and Beverage Sales Coordinator, one of the key responsibilities is to support the Assistant Food and Beverage Sales Manager in driving FIT covers and in-house capture for all outlets. This requires a strong understanding of sales strategies, target markets, and guest preferences. It can be complex to effectively execute sales initiatives while ensuring seamless coordination with other departments and maintaining a consistent guest experience. Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, event planners, and corporate accounts is essential for driving sales and generating repeat business. The Food and Beverage Sales Coordinator must effectively manage client relationships, understand their needs and preferences, and provide personalized service. Managing diverse client expectations and addressing concerns in a timely manner can be challenging. Revenue Optimization: Maximizing revenue from food and beverage sales requires strategic pricing, menu planning, and promotional efforts.
